Waiting to be discovered
Croatia is developing in a direction that is ideal for tourists, although not necessarily for the local population. It is moving away from industry, but in return, it boasts preserved nature and breathtaking landscapes. Situated on the margins of Europe, it is nonetheless safe and reliable, with no danger of social unrest. Its coastal cities may not expand and develop, but they feature beautifully preserved ancient cores. Therefore, it is ideal for tourism, which compensates for all other shortcomings for the residents.
Due to all of this, both the economy and the local population are increasingly turning to tourism. It is a country experiencing rapid growth in the number of visitors, even though many people have yet to discover Croatia. If you show the average European photos of beaches on the island of Brač or the Pelješac Peninsula, they might think it’s an exotic, faraway destination. The first wave of discovery happened thanks to global festivals (Ultra Europe) and the film industry (Game of Thrones) that chose Croatia, specifically Dalmatia, as a filming location. That’s a promising start. Now, we await guests who will appreciate the purity of nature, the richness of historical and cultural heritage, and, of course, authentic cuisine. Dalmatian wine, olive oil, and prosciutto. To begin with.
Be part of that second wave, among those who have recognized Croatia as the ideal vacation spot. The sea is still pristine, ancient streets are not yet crowded, and there is still an abundance of authentic local food. Therefore, put Croatia on your bucket list!

There is much more about why you should put Croatia on your bucket list, but I think this is a good start 🙂
